Therap users in New York are welcome to join our New York user group meeting which will take place in Pathfinder Village, Edmeston, on September 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (ET) . Join us to learn more about how Therap’s EHR software can work for providers supporting individuals who receive services through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
Providers in New York can use Therap’s EHR to meet criteria for transitioning to conflict free care coordination set forth by OPWDD, as the move from Medicaid service coordination to conflict-free care coordination takes place. Therap has an excellent track record of updating system elements when requirements change at the state or federal level. Here’s one example that demonstrates this point: Therap was the only EHR able to facilitate into production the IRMA file upload project. In addition, Therap has extensive experience with data conversion and migration — this includes the complexities, nuances, and requirements. Simply put, Therap will work within this new CCO environment to ensure that active client data is seamlessly moved to the designated CCO of the individual.

Support for New York’s CCO Transition
Therap provides documentation software for nearly 90 agencies in New York – this includes progress notes, incident reporting, individual service plan (ISP) data and documentation, medication administration records (MARs), billing claims, attendance and secure communication (SComm). Therap is currently actively extended and engaged with CCOs to make sure our responsibilities for exchanging data is accomplished. We look forward to working with all of the new CCOs as the July 1 start date approaches. See our New York state page for more information.
