Connecticut provider agencies currently use Therap to meet documentation needs, including demographics, person-centered individual support plans, care plans, medication administration records, and progress notes. In addition, Therap’s incident reporting tool is available to Connecticut providers for documenting reportable events including serious injuries, allegations of abuse, neglect or exploitation, missing person and death. Users are also able to report instances of medication error using the DDS Medication Error form available on the GER for users in Connecticut.
Meet the presenters:
Gretchen Falk-Lanfear who is a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist, joined the Therap Services team as a Training and Implementation Specialist for the Northeast Region in 2016. Gretchen has been working with the Therap system at her prior agency since 2012 and has helped train staff on the system.
Karen Niedermeier who is a Business Development Consultant, has joined the Therap Team in 2015 as the Northeast Business Development Associate. Prior to joining Therap, Karen worked in the ID/DD field for many years in an agency in New York State in Compliance and Records
Mary Beth Julian who is a Business Development Consultant, joined the Therap Services Team as a Business Development Consultant in the Northeast Region in 2018. She has worked in the Human Services field for the past 34 years with the largest provider in CT as a Program Supervisor of five Residential Homes and Supervisor of their In-Home Support and Autism Program.
Milagros “Mimi” Roche who is a Training & Implementation Specialist, joined Therap in 2016 as a Bilingual Training Specialist and is located in Waterbury, CT. Mimi has had over 10 years of experience working in the field of Development and Intellectual disabilities prior to joining Therap.
