Harles & Associates in conjunction with Florida Association of Rehabilitation Facilities will conduct a two day, five-hour session webinar covering the aspects of Federal wage-hour law that affects programs providing employment and training to individuals with disabilities.
The four sessions will cover:
- Session 1 – July 6, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm – Section 14(c) Overview and Determining Prevailing Rates
- Session 2 – July 6, 2011 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm – Measuring Productivity
- Session 3 – July 7, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm – Who must be paid when? For what? (Training, Volunteers, Down Time, etc.)
- Session 4 – July 7, 2011 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Possible changes to Section 14(c), changes in DOL enforcement, current investigations and findings
A webinar program will be used so participants can watch the power point while they listen to the presentation. Participants may ask questions or submit comments during the session. The telephone part of webinar will be through FreeConference.com.
The call-in number will NOT BE TOLL FREE.
Registrations will be strictly limited to 40 connections. Only people who have registered through Harles & Associates will be allowed to participate. Florida ARF members will receive a discounted rate of $200.00. **An organization can have different people attend different sessions so that an organization can best match their staff to the subject matter in each session. An organization can also have more than one person in front of the computer screen and on a speaker phone at the same time.**
