Only a few Weeks Remaining for the State Conference in Columbia, South Carolina

Only a few weeks remaining for the state conference in Columbia, South Carolina. This is a three days conference. The conference is scheduled from May 30th to April 2nd and will be held at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Columbia.

April 30th will be a 1 day Case Management and Early Intervention session. Over the course of the whole day, sessions will provide opportunities for new and experienced Case Managers to learn about required and optional Case Management support documentation and reporting, and learn how to get the most out of your use of Therap.

May 1st and 2nd are 2-day session designed for Day, Residential, Employment, and Community Support Providers. These 2-day sessions are for experienced and new Service Providers to learn about required and optional modules, new modules, enhancements and how to utilize and benefit more from individual support documentation and reporting, electronic health records (EHR) and training management.

We are almost at the very end, and this is that time of the year! Therap’s National conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, is scheduled to take place from January 29-31, 2019. The conference will be held at the Hilton Charlotte University Place.

Michelle C. Reynolds

Michelle is the Director of Individual Advocacy and Family Support of UMKC-Institute for Human Development (UCEDD), where she has worked for over 17 years.  In this role, she is responsible for projects that directly impact the lives of persons with disabilities and their families.

Therap to exhibit at the VACSB 2018 Public Policy Conference

Good news for the people of Virginia!

Therap Services will be exhibiting at the Virginia Association of Community Services Boards (VACSB) 2018 Public Policy Conference to be held in Roanoke, Virginia from October 3-5, 2018. Virginia provider agencies currently use Therap to meet documentations needs, including demographics, person centered individual support plans, care plans, medication administration records and progress notes. VACSB represents Virginia’s Community Services Boards and Behavioral Health Authority that provide the premier behavioral health and developmental disability services in Virginia’s Communities.

Over 4000 providers using Therap nationally, including over 90 providers in Virginia for Residential, In Home and Community Supports. Therap’s certified electronic health record software is used widely by nurses working at agencies that support individuals with I/DD. The Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) software features a full suite of applications including medication administration records, tracking vital signs and blood glucose.

About the Presenter:

Kerri has been working in the I-DD field for over 20 years. She started her career in Charlotte, NC as a social worker working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Kerri has been a Therap user since 2009 and assisted in leading the implementation process at her previous organization.
