User Group Meeting for Users in Alabama

Join our upcoming User Group Meeting for Users in Alabama. The User Group Meeting will be held on May 7, 2019, at 10 AM (CDT).  You will get a chance to directly communicate with providers/agencies using Therap. Moreover, you will be able to discuss and solve any problem or issue that you have regarding the Therap system. Maureen, Ishya, Devin, and Katy will walk you through the meeting.

Know the hosts:

Maureen “Mo” O’Connell is a Southeast Business Development Consultant at Therap. She has experience in working in the field related to Developmental Disabilities since 2006. She had been a Therap user at her previous workplace. Prior to joining Therap, Maureen had also worked as a Marketing Director which included event planning, fundraising and partnering with the Development Director.

Ishya “Shae” Dotson is a State Implementation Specialist at Therap. She has been supporting adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities since 2000. Other than that, Shae is a certified Person-Centered Thinking Skills Trainer. She has also been a Staff Training Coordinator for a provider agency for around 9 years as well as a trainer of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.

Devin Hardy is a Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap. He has 7 years of experience in working in the Developmental Disabilities industry. Devin has used and helped in implementing Therap system at his previous workplace. He has worked in many capacities such as a QDDP Assistant, and a Provider Administrator.  

Katy Head is a Training Specialist at Therap. Katy has over 5 years of experience in the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD) field. She has been a Direct Support Professional supporting people with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities in a Day Program setting. Later, she was promoted to Administrative Support where she was part of the Therap Implementation Team for the organization.

Only a few Weeks Remaining for the State Conference in Columbia, South Carolina

Only a few weeks remaining for the state conference in Columbia, South Carolina. This is a three days conference. The conference is scheduled from May 30th to April 2nd and will be held at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Columbia.

April 30th will be a 1 day Case Management and Early Intervention session. Over the course of the whole day, sessions will provide opportunities for new and experienced Case Managers to learn about required and optional Case Management support documentation and reporting, and learn how to get the most out of your use of Therap.

May 1st and 2nd are 2-day session designed for Day, Residential, Employment, and Community Support Providers. Therap Services will be exhibiting at the Virginia Association of Community Services Boards (VACSB) 2018 Public Policy Conference to be held in Roanoke, Virginia from October 3-5, 2018. Virginia provider agencies currently use Therap to meet documentations needs, including demographics, person centered individual support plans, care plans, medication administration records and progress notes. VACSB represents Virginia’s Community Services Boards and Behavioral Health Authority that provide the premier behavioral health and developmental disability services in Virginia’s Communities.

Florida User Group Meeting on October 16, 2018

Florida users are welcome to a User Group Meeting being held at 1890 West State Road 436, Suite 295, Winter Park, FL 04210 on October 16, 2018. This is an opportunity for users in the state of Florida to meet and troubleshoot, network, discuss state and regional issues, clarify and learn about the latest Therap releases. We welcome you to join our user group meeting to discuss how Therap will work for individuals receiving services through the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA), Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, to name a few. Learn how Florida Intellectual and developmental disabilities providers are using Therap to generate professional claims for Florida Medicaid while complying with Florida’s ADT Billing rules. Therap team members Maureen O’Connell and Tricia Woods will be at hand to answer technical questions and transmit the group’s consensus state needs and requirements to the Therap development team for review.
