Therap to exhibit at the VACSB 2018 Public Policy Conference

Good news for the people of Virginia!

Therap Services will be exhibiting at the Virginia Association of Community Services Boards (VACSB) 2018 Public Policy Conference to be held in Roanoke, Virginia from October 3-5, 2018. Virginia provider agencies currently use Therap to meet documentations needs, including demographics, person centered individual support plans, care plans, medication administration records and progress notes. VACSB represents Virginia’s Community Services Boards and Behavioral Health Authority that provide the premier behavioral health and developmental disability services in Virginia’s Communities.

Over 4000 providers using Therap nationally, including over 90 providers in Virginia for Residential, In Home and Community Supports. Therap’s certified electronic health record software is used widely by nurses working at agencies that support individuals with I/DD. The Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) software features a full suite of applications including medication administration records, tracking vital signs and blood glucose.

About the Presenter:

Kerri has been working in the I-DD field for over 20 years. She started her career in Charlotte, NC as a social worker working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Kerri has been a Therap user since 2009 and assisted in leading the implementation process at her previous organization.

Virginia User Group Meeting on May 24, 2017

Join us at our upcoming User Group meeting for users in the state of Virginia. The meeting will be hosted at the Resources for Independence of Virginia, Inc. (RIVA), 10340 Democracy Lane, Suite 201, Fairfax, VA 22030.

This is an opportunity for Therap users from agencies in the state of Virginia providing services and supports in the Intellectual and Developmental Disability community to check in with Therap and learn from and share with other Therap users in the area. Therap team member, Rebecca Musser, will be on hand to answer any technical questions and transmit the group’s consensus state needs and requirements to the Therap development team for review.
