Stephanie Masters Norton is the Senior Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. Prior to joining Therap, she oversaw the implementation of Therap System and played an integral role in training, monitoring and quality assurance.     Join our upcoming Quarterly Webinar on Individual and Family Access User Group on February 20, 2019 at 1 pm (EST)/10 am (PST). The presenters in the webinar will discuss how Therap is giving individuals, family members, guardians and Case Managers access to information within the system. The purpose of the Roles is to guarantee that Therap system operates in a way that is secure and HIPAA compliant. Therap’s multilevel access control mechanism makes it easy for individuals and their family members to access timely information and be knowledgeable about the services and supports that the individual is receiving. They can communicate with support professionals directly, view daily notes, see progress, view medications and receive notification and more, depending on how their accounts are configured. Therap allows individuals and guardians to feel a better sense of decision-making based on their instant access to information. About the Presenters: Letisha Ulmer is the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance at Therap. She has been working in the Human Services field since 2008. She is a skilled trainer and is well versed in CMS and OPWDD regulations and documentation requirements. Gretchen Falk-Lanfear is the Senior Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. She has worked in residential support, job coaching and home support. Stephen Flanigan is the Assistant Director, Strategic Initiatives at Therap. He has worked on various teams within Therap focusing on the development and implementation of the overall training approach of the company. Free Webinar on Intake and Eligibility

Join our free webinar on Intake and Eligibility scheduled on February 15, 2019, at 1 pm ET/10 am PT. Jeff and Leah will walk you through the modules in the session.

The admission or individual intake process in Therap starts when the Provider Administrator at an agency enters a new individual’s basic demographic information when there’s an oversight agency, a user also assigns a unique Oversight ID. The user is then taken to the Individual Data Form where detailed information related to providing care to the individual is entered.

Therap’s Individual eligibility determination process helps providers to record information to determine if a person is eligible for waiver services. The Individual Eligibility form can be used to complete redeterminations.
