Configuring your ISP Programs

Did you know? Our webinar “Configuring your ISP Programs” is less than two weeks away! The webinar is scheduled to take place on March 19, 2020, at 1:00 pm EST. Our Therap experts Katy Lilly and Jeremy Gibson will walk you through this webinar. In this webinar, attendees will learn how to configure and use ISP Programs.

The Therap Individual Service or Support Plan (ISP) module provides a platform to facilitate discussions and help in the decision making process when creating a  person-centered service plan. Agencies can use this tool to plan, organize and implement the individualized service plans for each individual in a HIPAA compliant manner.

The ISP module includes program definition, data collection, and report generation which offers a flexible way of tracking the goals and progress of an Individual. Users can also document the following funded services and supports on the Individual Service Plan:

  • Natural Supports and Community Resources
  • Medicaid State Plan Services
  • Federal, State, and County Funded Resources
  • HCB Waiver Service Summary
  • Other Services or 100% OPWDD Funded Supports & Services (NY Users)
  • Name of Service Provider Receiving Copy of the Plan & Attachments

Data Driven Outcomes – Coming Updates

Therap’s upcoming webinar “Data Driven Outcomes – Coming Updates” is just a week away! The webinar is scheduled to take place on March 17, 2020, at 2:00 PM (EST). The webinar will be led by our Therap experts – Jason Laws, Fayonne Johnson, and Gretchen Falk-Lanfear. They will answer the questions that you might have.

Therap has introduced a new Data Driven Outcome dashboard for tracking outcomes and measuring the quality of services and supports provided to all individuals supported.

Know the hosts:

Fayonne Johnson joined Therap in 2013 and is currently working as a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist. She comes from a Nursing background with extensive experience in caring for and documenting the needs of children and adults with emotional and mental disorders, including Dementia and Alzheimer’s, in a clinical setting.

Jason Laws is a Business Development Consultant who joined Therap back in 2010. He came from North Carolina with a background in individualized support and service delivery for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Gretchen Falk-Lanfear is a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist and she joined Therap Services in 2016. She previously worked for FAVARH (The ARC of the Farmington Valley) in CT as a Residential Manager for 15 years and served as a PMT Instructor.

Overview of the Case Note

Did you know? Our webinar “Overview of the Case Note” is less than two weeks away! The webinar is scheduled to take place on March 10, 2020, at 1:00 pm EST. Our Therap experts Leah Sewell and Tracy Linko will walk you through the webinar. In this webinar, attendees will learn how to configure and use Case Notes.

Providers and Oversight Providers can use Therap’s Case Note module to document the details of any service delivery over a specific period of time. Administrators will be able to create Locations, Activity Types, Templates, and link Questionnaires to the Templates. Users will be able to select the Case Notes to be billable, face-to-face, and/or used to generate billing.

Know the hosts:

Leah Sewell is an Assistant Director of State Implementation at Therap. She has worked in the Human Services field since 1999, providing comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses. Prior to joining Therap, Leah used the Therap system for documentation of support and team-wide communication in residential settings in Southern Maine.

Tracy Linko joined the Therap Services Team as a Billing Specialist in 2016. She assisted her previous agency in implementing Therap and was the Therap subject matter expert in addition to her duties as Finance Manager. Tracy is now working in Therap as a State Implementation Specialist.

Introduction to Time Tracking

Comprehensive Health Assessments

The Comprehensive Health Assessment Tool (eCHAT) is an in-depth health evaluation of an individual. It is a simple, easy to understand online assessment of an individual’s health symptoms and history. It also calculates the overall acuity level and publishes a summary with recommendations for where care plans may be required.

This form can be used in conjunction with the Personal Focus Worksheet and the ISP Agenda for a comprehensive person-centered planning experience.

ISP Billing Unit Calculation Rule

This webinar will review applying Unit Calculation rule to the ISP data method of data collection on your service authorization, the setup and how it functions. Using the ‘ISP Billing (Using Unit Calculation Rule)’ feature, users are able to generate Billing through ISP Data for a defined Unit Calculation Rule.

Heather Thornton is a Billing Specialist at Therap. She has worked in the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD) field for over 4 years in various capacities. At her previous agency, Heather helped to implement Therap from T-Logs to Billing.

Toni-Ann Larnaitis joined Therap Services as a Billing Specialist in May 2019. Prior to Therap, Toni-Ann spent more than 14 years in the field of Development/Intellectual Disabilities. She worked 2 years in Administration as a Therap Trainer and Billing Specialist for Group Homes.

Personal Finance Q&A

We are happy to announce our upcoming webinar on Therap’s Personal Finance module. The webinar is scheduled for November 12, 2019, at 1:00 pm EST/10:00 am PST. Therap experts Letisha and Gretchen will walk you through the webinar and answer questions that you might have.

Therap’s Personal Finance module allows users to record an individual’s transactions for any type of account (i.e. Cash on Hand, Personal Spending, Gift Cards, etc.) as well as attaching/scanning receipts. Reports can be run to view the individual’s electronic ledger as well as customize reports to monitor spending by category, merchant, etc.
