Billing from ISP Data using Unit Calculation Rules

Join our free webinar “Billing from ISP Data using Unit Calculation Rules” scheduled on 31 March, 2020 at 1:00 PM EST. Our Therap experts Nadine Sturgess and Toni-Ann Larnaitis will walk you through the webinar and answer questions you may have.

This webinar will review applying Unit Calculation Rules to the ISP Data method of data collection on your service authorization, the setup and how it functions. Using the ‘ISP Billing (Using Unit Calculation Rule)’ feature, users are able to generate Billing through ISP Data for a defined Unit Calculation Rule. Billing Data can be generated directly for provided services or by using ISP Data, Attendance data and Case Notes collected for the provided services.

Know the Presenters

Nadine Sturgess is the Director of Billing and Special Projects in Therap with experience in working with a large provider in New York State holding various roles, most notably Senior Residential Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager. In Therap, she works closely with the Billing and Support teams to pursue new billing opportunities.

Toni-Ann Larnaitis joined Therap Services as a Billing Specialist in May 2019. Prior to Therap, Toni-Ann spent more than 14 years in the field of Development/Intellectual Disabilities. She worked 2 years in Administration as a Therap Trainer and Billing Specialist for Group Homes.

Pharmacy Interface: A Detailed Overview

Come join our webinar on ‘Pharmacy Interface’ module on 18 March, 2020 at 1 PM EST. Fayonne Johnson and Connie O’Neill will be presenting a detailed overview of Pharmacy Interface. With the Pharmacy Interface module, providers can receive Pharmacy Messages from pharmacies that utilize QS/ 1-Primecare/ Speedscript/ Frameworks.

The Pharmacy Messages contain medication information for an individual from a pharmacy. The Linked Individual ID on the Pharmacy Message is used to link the message to the individual. By using the Pharmacy Messages, Medication History forms can be generated for the individuals and tracked using the MAR module. The Pharmacy Interface module offers a simple and effective way for agencies to receive Pharmacy Messages from the pharmacies. A Pharmacy Message consists of various medication information for a particular individual.

About the Presenters

Fayonne Johnson, who is a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist, joined Therap in 2013. She comes from a Nursing background with extensive experience in caring for and documenting needs of children and adults with emotional and mental disorders, including Dementia and Alzheimer’s, in a clinical setting. At Therap, Fayonne provides on-site training and consultation to providers, families, self-advocates, and other users of Therap and has presented on numerous Therap conferences and webinars for Therap users.

Connie O’Neill, who works as Training & Implementation Specialist in Therap, has worked in the Health and Human Services field, specifically with adults with Developmental Disabilities, in the state of Montana for over 5 years. She served as the Provider Administrator and has 5 cumulative years experience with using Therap.

Tracy Linko is a State Implementation Specialist at Therap. She assisted her previous agency in implementing Therap. She has over 13 years of experience working for a software company and more than 9 years of experience in managing accounting/finance.

Introduction to Staff Action Plan and Hab Checklists

About the Presenters

Letisha Ulmer, who is an Assistant Director of Quality Assurance, joined Therap Training and Implementation team in 2014. She has worked in the Human Services field since 2008 in the state of New York where she filled professional roles including a Therap administrator, a resident benefits clerk and a day habilitation secretary.

Jeremy Gibson is a Training Specialist in Therap. He began his career in the DD field in 2011 as a direct care employee with Community Support Services of Missouri in Joplin, MO. Jeremy continued to gain experience with CSS when he took the position of Training Coordinator which allowed him to learn more about Therap.

Agency Communication within Therap: T-Logs, SComm, and Notifications

Join our Agency Communication webinar which is scheduled on February 27, 2020 at 1:30 PM EST. The webinar will cover T-log and Secure Communications (SComm) modules and will also demonstrate how our notification system works.

Participants will get to know about how the T-log supports a “follow-up” mechanism that allows users to create a chain of log entries about a particular issue. It is particularly useful in daily monitoring and progress notes. Our Secure Communications (SComm) module has been designed to facilitate the exchange of information in a secure, HIPAA compliant way.

Did you know?

Therap’s Notification option allows users to set a single notification profile for different modules to receive notifications through email, text or SComm messages for the user-selected events.

Devin Hardy is a Training & Implementation Specialist in Therap with 7 years of experience working with individuals that have Developmental Disabilities. He helped with the implementation of Therap at the Sunrise Community and served on the pilot team for the State of Alabama while the decision to use Therap was being discussed across the state.

Connie O’Neill, who works as Training & Implementation Specialist in Therap, has worked in the Health and Human Services field, specifically with adults with Developmental Disabilities, in the state of Montana for over 5 years. Overview of Individual Data Form

We are pleased to announce our upcoming webinar on ‘Overview of Individual Data Formwhich will be held on February 13, 2020 at 12:00 PM ET. The webinar will provide an overview on the Individual Data Form module.

The Individual Data form (IDF) is designed to help users maintain essential information such as race, religion, SSN, Medicare, Medicaid number, admission date, program enrollment date, etc. for individuals, along with their basic identification details such as name, date of birth, physical features, and others. Users are able to attach to this module two photographs and scanned documents and store them in a HIPAA compliant form.

About the Presenters:

Bonnie Sorrells joined the Therap Services team as a Training and Implementation Specialist in 2018. She previously worked for Ouachita Enrichment Centers in South Arkansas as the Director of Adult Services and HIPAA Coordinator for 15 years during which she received training in HIPAA, behavioral planning, case management, medication management, and supported employment. Bonnie has been working with the Therap system at her prior agency since 2013 as the administrator and primary Therap in-house trainer.

Katy Lilly joined Therap in 2018 with five years of experience in the I/DD field. She began as a Direct Support Professional at United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham supporting individuals with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities in a Day Program setting. Katy assisted with the initial setup of Therap, staff training, and quality assurance of documentation for the company.
