Data-Driven Outcomes – Overview and Updates

Therap is hosting a webinar on Data-Driven Outcomes – Overview and Updates on September 4, 2019, from 2 pm EST/11 am PST. This session will provide an overview of Therap’s Data-Driven Outcomes (DDO) module and the associated dashboard within Therap’s Business Intelligence platform. This module/dashboard will allow agencies to capture/aggregate outcomes data within provider-determined domains at the individual, program, provider, and oversight levels to assess organizational performance in supporting individuals.

Know the hosts:

Jason Laws is a Business Development Consultant who joined Therap in 2010. He came from North Carolina with a background in individualized supports and service delivery for individuals with developmental disabilities.

DDO can benefit agencies and providers by capturing evidence-based information. The data provides evidentiary facts about an individual’s care. Unlike projections or even assumptions based on past history, actual data collected from EHR documentation is clear and concise. Through EHR documentation, services and supports are tracked in real-time. This documentation turns into useful data that measures overall service delivery and outcomes. Staff can measure performance by leveraging measured outcomes to meet benchmarks, goals, state and federal mandates, as well as to make necessary adjustments.

Therap’s Business Intelligence Tool Allows for Aggregated Reporting and Trend Analysis

Therap’s Business Intelligence module for aggregating agency-wide data and serving real time reports for various modules. Using this tool, agencies providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are able to create meaningful aggregate data reports that allow for identification of trends, execution of quality assurance activities, and assessment of overall agency performance in supporting individuals.

The Demographic Dashboard of Therap’s Business Intelligence module provides aggregated reports on individual demographic data which allows for comparison of data across providers and programs. Providers can conduct predictive analysis by recognizing and responding to patterns at different levels of their organizations. Through the GER Dashboard providers have the ability to identify trends from reportable incidents, allowing them to perform comparative analyses of variables including type, cause, severity, and location of incidents to enhance overall quality assurance and reduction of incidents.

The Data Driven Outcomes (DDO) Dashboard provides outcomes trends on ISP Data. Providers are able to compare outcome data for provider directed domains. Users can utilize the Data Driven Outcomes module in existing accreditation process and review during state/regional review processes by reviewing performance, assessing outcomes, and reviewing satisfaction of service recipients. Administrators can improve allocation of human resources by analyzing the trends of received services and resulting outcomes.

Through the Health Tracking Dashboard providers can get statistical representation of health data pulled from the Health Tracking modules. This allows the aggregation and comparison of data at oversight, provider, program, and individual levels. Additionally, it provides summaries and longitudinal analyses of various types of health-related components by year and by month.

The Billing Dashboard aggregates Billing Data and Claim information pulled from the the Billing module. It contains statistical representation of billing data of an agency and provides comparison based analyses for trending of data from the Billing module by year and by month.

Users can generate graphs in different forms such as Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Table, Stacked Bar Chart, Stacked Pie Chart, and more. Dashboards can be customized and at the same time users can select multiple favorite dashboards. Default dashboards and graph types can also be selected for easier access.
