Release Overview for 2020.0.1

Therap is thrilled to invite you to join the upcoming webinar on Release Overview for 2020.0.1. This webinar will be held on 4th June, 2020 at 1:30 PM (EST). Your hosts for tomorrow’s exciting event will be Catherine Hauser, Caiti Woodburn and Letisha Ulmer who will walk you through the new Release Notes and attend to any questions or suggestions you may have. 

The Release 2020.0.1 will bring new features and module enhancements in Therap’ suite of applications to make daily documentation more effortless and efficient for all Therap users. Therap adds several new features and enhancements to make electronic documentation effective so that all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) can receive excellent services and achieve a desirable quality of life. 

Meet your Hosts

Catherine Hauser is the Large Provider Project Manager at Therap Services. Her journey at Therap began in 2017. She has around 15 years of experience working in the Developmental Disabilities industry. Catherine fulfilled numerous professional roles prior to joining Therap which include Direct Support Person, QIDP for both ICF/DD and CILA programs, Program Coordinator, DSP Course Coordinator as well as Chairperson to the Human Rights Committee, Psychotropic Review Committee and Behavior Management Committee. 

Caiti Woodburn is the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap Services. She began working in Therap in 2017. She has been working in the Developmental Disabilities (DD) field for around 12 years. Caiti’s first professional role in the DD industry was as a Cabin Staff member at Wonderland Camp in Rocky Mount, MO. 

Letisha Ulmer is the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance at Therap Services. She has been serving her role at Therap since 2014. She has around 12 years of experience working in the Human Services field. Letisha is an excellent presenter who has presented at numerous New York Regional Conferences and Conventions including those hosted by Therap and NYSACRA. She is also an adept trainer who is well versed in CMS and OPWDD regulations and documentation requirements.

Introducing a new Module: Charting the LifeCourse

Therap welcomes you to join our upcoming webinar on the introduction of a new module called ‘Charting the LifeCourse’. This webinar is scheduled to be held on 14th May, 2020 at 4:00 PM (EST). Ishya “Shae” Dotson and Caiti Woodburn will present to you a comprehensive overview of how you can use this module to complete your daily documentation effortlessly and efficiently.

The module, Charting the LifeCourse, is a person-centered framework. It is designed to consist of several tools that can provide a comprehensive approach to planning support for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and/or their families. In this webinar, you will learn how to utilize these tools effectively so that the individuals under your care can live an enhanced life that they desire.

Shae has around 20 years of experience in supporting adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. 

Caiti Woodburn is currently the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap Services. She has been with Therap since 2017. Before joining Therap, Caiti acquired the experience of using the Therap system as both user and provider administrator at Community Choice Inc. in Kansas City. Caiti has around 12 years of experience working in the Developmental Disabilities field.

Quarterly Nursing User Group

It is our great pleasure to invite you to join Therap’s Quarterly Nursing User Group which is scheduled to be held on 12th May, 2020 at 1:00 PM (EST). From this online user group, you will acquire the knowledge and skills required to build your own unique documentation to track and monitor the essential health care needs of your individuals. This is the perfect platform for troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues. Adept Therap team members, Fayonne Johnson and Gretchen Falk-Lanfear, will host this session to guide you through the usage processes and clarify any misperceptions you may have regarding the use of Therap’s suite of applications. The prime focus of this online user group is to guide you through the process of using Therap’s Questionnaire module

Therap’s Questionnaire module enables users to create questions to a custom-tailored questionnaire for survey. Once your questionnaire has been made, it can be approved and linked to other significant Therap modules for tracking health care needs of individuals. Approved Questionnaire forms can be viewed from Case Note, Priority List, Level of Care and Eligibility modules.

Meet the Presenters:

Fayonne Johnson is a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap. Her journey with Therap began seven years ago. Fayonne is highly experienced in working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), particularly with those who have Dementia and Alzheimer’s. 

Gretchen Falk-Lanfear is currently the Senior Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap. She first joined Therap in the Training and Implementation Specialist position for the Northeast Region in 2016. In addition to this, Gretchen works passionately for the community by fulfilling her role as the Co-Local Coordinator for the Farmington Valley delegation for Special Olympics CT.

Overview of the Custom Form Template Library

We have some exciting news! Join our webinar on Custom Forms which will be held on 23rd April, 2020 at 1:00 PM EST. You will receive a comprehensive overview of the Custom Form Template Library by the adept Therap specialists, Devin Hardy and Connie O’Neill. They will be there to guide you through all the processes that will ensure greater benefits in your daily electronic documentation using Therap application.

Therap has created a library of available forms known as “Custom Forms” for your convenience and efficiency in daily documentation. Agencies can import these forms to record and maintain significant information related to individuals. Through this online session, you will also learn how to migrate your current forms into Therap application for better reporting and configurability.

Devin Hardy currently fulfills the role of Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap. His journey with Therap began in 2017. He has over 7 years of experience in assisting individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Devin had fulfilled several important roles in the past including Provider Administrator, Day Program Supervisor and QDDP for Day Program.

Introduction to Time Tracking

The Time Tracking module is available for everyone as it is a part of the ‘Therap Basic Package’. You and your agency staff can all enjoy the benefits from using this module to document data timely on several significant areas for your individuals that require monitoring. You may want to track your individuals’ moods, sleep, behaviors, toileting, repositioning, bed checks, community inclusion/outings, accountability, restrictive device, intake/elimination, adaptive equipment and more! You can create Time Tracking Templates as needed and record Time Tracking Data to generate reports, all of which can assist you to ensure greater developments in the well-beings of your individuals.

Bonnie Sorrells has been the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap since 2018. Prior to this, she had been fulfilling her roles as The Director of Adult Services and HIPAA Coordinator at Ouachita Enrichment Centers in South Arkansas. Bonnie has been working with the Therap suite of applications since 2013 as the administrator and primary Therap in-house trainer at her previous agency.

Milagros “Mimi” Roche is presently the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap. Her journey with Therap began in 2016 when she first joined as a Bilingual Training Specialist. Mimi has over a decade of experience working passionately in the field of Development and Intellectual Disabilities. She has adopted the use of the Therap System since 2005 in the many roles she has been fulfilling since that time.

Tricia Woods had started her journey with the Therap Training and Implementation team in 2016. In addition to having over 15 years of experience working in the Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities sector prior to joining Therap, Tricia has extensive knowledge of regulations from the previous management roles she had fulfilled within Intermediate care facilities and Life Skills Development Centers (ADTs) in Florida.

Sarah Christiansen has been a part of the Therap Training and Implementation team since 2015. She has over 10 years of experience in working within the Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health field. Sarah feels passionate about her profession within this field as this gives her the opportunity to support individuals to live an enhanced life.
