Letisha Ulmer, currently Assistant Director of Quality Assurance, joined the Therap Training and Implementation team in 2014. She has worked in the Human Services field since 2008 in the state of New York where she filled professional roles including a Therap administrator, a residents’ benefits clerk and a day habilitation secretary.

Sarah Christiansen is a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap Services. She has been working in the DD and Mental Health field since 2009. She is excited by the many ways technology can positively impact the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities as well as the staff who support them.

Overview of the Case Note

Did you know? Our webinar “Overview of the Case Note” is less than two weeks away! The webinar is scheduled to take place on March 10, 2020, at 1:00 pm EST. Our Therap experts Leah Sewell and Tracy Linko will walk you through the webinar. In this webinar, attendees will learn how to configure and use Case Notes.

Providers and Oversight Providers can use Therap’s Case Note module to document the details of any service delivery over a specific period of time. Administrators will be able to create Locations, Activity Types, Templates, and link Questionnaires to the Templates. Users will be able to select the Case Notes to be billable, face-to-face, and/or used to generate billing.

Know the hosts:

Leah Sewell is an Assistant Director of State Implementation at Therap. She has worked in the Human Services field since 1999, providing comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses. Prior to joining Therap, Leah used the Therap system for documentation of support and team-wide communication in residential settings in Southern Maine.

Tracy Linko joined the Therap Services Team as a Billing Specialist in 2016. She assisted her previous agency in implementing Therap and was the Therap subject matter expert in addition to her duties as Finance Manager. Tracy is now working in Therap as a State Implementation Specialist.

New Features for Scheduling/Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is Here!

States are progressing to comply with the federal Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) mandate. And we are here to announce that Therap has upgraded its Scheduling/EVV module with new features that will help you verify quality services provided to individuals more easily and help you navigate compliance in your state.

Join our upcoming webinar to know about New Features for Scheduling/Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) module on January 6, 2020. The webinar will be held at 2:00 PM EST/11:00 AM PST which will include discussion on what new features added on Scheduling/EVV, how these features will make the scheduling process efficient and more.

With Therap’s Scheduling/EVV tool, users can build staff schedules (especially for in-home and community-based services), track staff hours, monitor individual service allocation and will also meet the upcoming federal EVV requirements.

Gretchen Falk-Lanfear is a Senior Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. She has worked in both Residential Supports as well as job coaching and has provided in-home support.

Therap is hosting a webinar on Scheduling/ Electronic Visit Verification, highlighting its new released features on September 25, 2018 from 2 pm ET/11 am PT. Therap’s EVV is combined with scheduling features for building staff schedules so that staff can see location assignments and use map features to navigate to service locations. With geolocation and timestamp features, staff can easily check in/out electronically and remotely with a single swipe from their hand held devices. The app captures time and date stamp of the entry.

Therap’s EVV tool employs platform and device flexibility for added ease of use via Android and iOS mobile applications and web-based interface. Therap’s flexibility allows for organizations to consider several different options when considering hardware. This flexibility allows for an organization not be restricted to one hardware solution or another. What’s new in the July Release of Scheduling/ Electronic Visit Verification

Therap’s Scheduling/EVV module allows for building staff schedules (especially for in-home and community based services), track staff hours, monitor individual service allocation and is also designed to meet the upcoming federal and state EVV requirements. With the recent update to the module, a Search link has been added to the Scheduling section on the Individual tab for the Individual, Program and Service fields. Schedule Slots can now be approved without selecting a staff. Schedules approved without a staff will appear in red on the grid. Approved Schedule Slot forms can now be edited. However, keep in mind that once the Check-In and Check-Out has been completed, schedulers will only be able to edit the Check-In and Check-Out time and date.
