Know the Presenters

Milagros “Mimi” Roche joined Therap in 2016 as a Bilingual Training Specialist and is located in Waterbury, CT. Mimi has had over 10 years of experience working in the field of Development and Intellectual disabilities prior to joining Therap. She has worked as an Employment Specialist, Residential Instructor and Supervisor.

Elizabeth Stanton is a Training and Implementation Specialist of the he Therap Services team who joined in 2020. Liz has previous experience working with a large provider in New York State for 16 years; holding various roles, with the most recent being the Therap Administrator for 8 years.

Fayonne Johnson joined Therap in 2013 and is currently working as a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist. She comes from a Nursing background with extensive experience in caring for and documenting the needs of children and adults with emotional and mental disorders, including Dementia and Alzheimer’s, in a clinical setting.

Release Overview for 2019.4.0

About the presenters:

Letisha Ulmer is the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance at Therap. She has worked in the Human Services field since 2008 in New York State, where she worked on professional roles including Therap administrator, residents’ benefits clerk, and day habilitation secretary. She was responsible for the implementation of the Therap system across agency programs, maintaining written agency-specific training manuals and ensuring all new employees were trained in use of the Therap system.

Fayonne Johnson is a Senior Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. She comes from a Nursing background with extensive experience in caring for and documenting the needs of children and adults with emotional and mental disorders. At Therap, she provides on-site training, and consultation to providers, families, self-advocates and other users, and has presented on numerous Therap conferences and webinars.

Business Intelligence – GER Dashboard Update

General Event Reports (GER) on Therap, also known as Incident Reports, have been designed to track reportable incidents for an individual. Using the incident reporting tool, users can report and follow-up on a wide range of incidents including injuries, behavioral concerns, restraints, and accidents.

Therap has introduced the Business Intelligence platform for aggregating agency-wide data and reporting across several dashboards. With the Business Intelligence platform, Providers will be able to create meaningful aggregated data reports that allow for the identification of trends, execution of quality assurance activities, and assessment of overall agency performance in supporting individuals. Current dashboards include General Event Reports (GER), Demographics, Health Tracking, Billing, and Data-Driven Outcomes (DDO).

Business Intelligence: Health Tracking Reporting in Therap

We are happy to announce our upcoming webinar on Business Intelligence: Health Tracking Reporting in Therap. Join us to take a look at various reporting options for Therap’s Health Tracking module, including using the Report Library and Therap’s Business Intelligence Health Tracking Dashboard. Catherine and Jason will walk you through this webinar which is scheduled on April 18, 2019 (1 pm ET/10 am PT).

Through the Business Intelligence module of Therap, users can aggregate agency-wide data and utilize meaningful reports/dashboards for multiple modules that allow for identification of trends, execution of quality assurance activities, and assessment of overall agency performance in supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD). The Health Tracking Dashboard contains a statistical representation of health data pulled from the Health Tracking module. This allows the aggregation and comparison of data at oversight, provider, program, and individual levels.

Features of Health Tracking Dashboard include: 

  • Aggregates Health Tracking data such as Appointments, Seizures, Height, and Weight to analyze individuals’ health status and progress.
  • Allows statistical analysis of Diagnosis Groups across states and counties.
  • Provides summaries and longitudinal analyses of various types of health-related components by year and by month.

About the presenters:

Catherine Hauser is a Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. Her experience in the developmental disabilities field began in 2005 in Illinois as a Direct Support Person. Catherine introduced Therap to her agency and was able to see both the immediate and long-lasting benefits offered by all of Therap’s services.

Jason Laws is a Business Development Consultant at Therap. He has worked in direct support, case management, program management and executive director of a nonprofit service provider. Jason has previously managed projects on workforce development, individualized models of support, and community integration for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Generate Billing from Attendance, ISP and Case Notes

Join our free webinar “Generate Billing from Attendance, ISP and Case Notes” scheduled on 12th of April, 2019 at 1:00 pm EST/10:00 am PST. Our Therap experts Dawn and Devin will walk you through the webinar and answer questions you may have.

Users must generate Billing Data using the service data collected, in order to bill for those services. These Billing Data are then used to generate claims. Billing Data can be generated directly for provided services or by using ISP Data, Attendance data and Case Notes collected for the provided services.

Dawn Gilder is currently working as a Billing Specialist here at Therap Services. She joined Therap back in 2015. Prior to joining Therap, Dawn worked for over 7 years at an ICF-ID in Nevada providing administrative and computer support, as well as Therap provider administrator services.

Time Tracking-‘It’s not just for Sleep Data’

Join our upcoming webinar on Time Tracking on March 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm EST/ 11:00 am PST. Robin and Letisha will walk you through the Time Tracking module, which is part of Therap Basic Package and everyone has it.

The Time Tracking module is designed to monitor activities and behavior changes including sleeping patterns and mood swings of individuals over a period of time at regular intervals. However, it’s not just for sleep data, and through this webinar, you’ll get to know how to utilize Time Tracking module fully.

Robin Forbes is a Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. She comes with more than 25 years of experience in the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD) field in Delaware and Colorado. Prior to joining Therap, she implementing Therap as a Provider Administrator as a way to improve efficiency and quality of services.
