Bonnie Sorrells has been the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap Services since 2018. She had introduced the Therap system at her previous agency in 2013 and has been working since then as the administrator and primary Therap in-house trainer. Bonnie has acquired more than 15 years of knowledge and experience in areas including HIPAA training, case management, supported employment, medication management and behavioral planning.

Connie O’Neill is fulfilling the role of Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap Services since 2019. She has 5 cumulative years of experience in using the Therap system and also served as the Provider administrator. Connie has over 5 years of specialized expertise in working with adults with Developmental Disabilities.

Bonnie has 15 years of experience and training in supported employment, HIPAA, medication management, behavioral planning and case management. 

Connie O’Neill is the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap since 2019. She previously served as the Provider Administrator when she had first begun using the Therap application. Therefore, she has five years of cumulative experience in using Therap. Connie’s other past professional roles during her career include Director of Quality Assurance, Direct Care Professional as well as Training and Curriculum Development.

Tricia Woods had started her journey with the Therap Training and Implementation team in 2016. In addition to having over 15 years of experience working in the Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities sector prior to joining Therap, Tricia has extensive knowledge of regulations from the previous management roles she had fulfilled within Intermediate care facilities and Life Skills Development Centers (ADTs) in Florida.

Sarah Christiansen has been a part of the Therap Training and Implementation team since 2015. She has over 10 years of experience in working within the Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health field. Sarah feels passionate about her profession within this field as this gives her the opportunity to support individuals to live an enhanced life.

Join our upcoming webinar on QA Series: Health Outcomes on May 17, 2019. The webinar will be held at 1:00 PM ET/10:00 AM PT. Gretchen and Seanette will walk you through this webinar.

We will focus on measuring Health Outcomes to track the physical, mental and social well-being for those we support. Learn how to track preventative, follow-up and various health concerns using our Health Tracking modules and reports. We will also discuss various options for tracking healthy lifestyle goals using ISP Programs and generating the Programmatic report to track progress.

Know your presenters:

Gretchen Falk-Lanfear is a Senior Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. She previously worked for FAVARH (The ARC of the Farmington Valley) in CT as a Residential Manager for 15 years and served as a PMT Instructor, the Water Safety Director and Alzheimer’s and Dementia training specialist. She has been working with the Therap system at her prior agency since 2012 and has helped train staff on the system.

Seanette Smith is a Senior Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. Prior to joining Therap, she has worked in the Developmental Disability Program in the state of Oregon as a Personal Service Worker (PSW) Liaison/QED. Seanette has over 10 years of experience as a Billing Specialist.

Mobile MAR for Android

The Medication Administration Records (MAR) module in the Therap for Android app enables you to record medications administered from your phone while attending to individuals. In addition, you can view diagnoses of individuals and access shared contacts of health professionals. Similar to the MAR Module in Therap, Mobile MAR references the industry-leading drug database, First Databank (FDB).

The user interface is visually intuitive as users can view lists of medication by viewing each time-slot. The color codes lets the users know if the medication has been administered, missed, refused etc.

The MAR tool in the Therap for Android app allows you to access and view detailed information about medications along with images, drug-drug and drug-allergy interactions.

Viewing Contacts, Allergies, Diagnoses
Mobile MAR pulls data from other modules in the Therap application like allergy profiles, diagnosis lists, and shared medical contacts from Individual Data forms so that you can view these key information about the individual while administering medications.

CCHIT Session Time-out Configuration

Therap 2013.1 release enables Agency Administrators and other authorized Users to Customize Session Time-out. As an important step towards CCHIT Compliance, Therap enables agencies to configure a time between 15 to 60 minutes after which the session time will run out.

Therap for Texas I/DD Providers

In Texas, providers of ICF/DD, HCS, Supported Living and other developmental disability services, working under the supervision of Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services, are using Therap’s HIPAA compliant software solutions to handle a wide range of documentation and reporting tasks including, incident reporting, service delivery documentation, medication administration, health/nursing assessments and electronic billing.  Here’s a list of Therap modules most used by Texas providers:
