Individual and Family Therap Access User Group

We are very happy to announce our upcoming webinar named “Individual and Family Therap Access User Group” is scheduled on May 20, 2020 at 12.00 PM (EST). Know the presenters

Letisha Ulmer, currently Assistant Director of Quality Assurance, joined the Therap Training and Implementation team in 2014. She has worked in the Human Services field since 2008 in the state of New York where she filled professional roles including a Therap administrator, a residents’ benefits clerk and a day habilitation secretary. 

Gretchen Falk-Lanfear is a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist who started at Therap Services in the year 2016. She previously worked for FAVARH (The ARC of the Farmington Valley) in CT as a Residential Manager for 15 years and served as a PMT Instructor, the Water Safety Director and Alzheimer’s and Dementia training specialist. .

Using the Individual Support Plan for Comprehensive Annual Planning

Therap Services is pleased to announce the upcoming webinar on “Using the Individual Support Plan for Comprehensive Annual Planning” that is scheduled on May 13, 2020 at 01:00 PM (EST).

Therap’s Individual Support Plan module is designed for you to plan and document individual supports. This module will enable you to record an individual’s personal details including Risks, Professional Services, Action Plans, Discussion Records, and Services Supports in the Individual Support Plan form. Moreover, this form can be used together with the Personal Focus Worksheet and the ISP Agenda for a comprehensive person-centered planning experience.

Know the presenters

Ishya “Shae” Dotson is a State Implementation Specialist of Therap Services, she joined the team in 2014. Shae is a certified Person-Centered Thinking Skills Trainer for The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices.

Robin Forbes joined the Therap Services West Team as a Training and Implementation Specialist in 2018. She has over 25 years of experience working in the I/DD field in Delaware and Colorado.

Meet the Presenters

Catherine Hauser, who is a Large Provider Project Manager, joined Therap Services in 2017. Her experience in the developmental disabilities field began in 2005 in Illinois when she became a Direct Support Person.

Caiti Woodburn is a Training & Implementation Specialist and joined Therap in 2017. She began working in the DD industry in 2008 as a Cabin Staff member at Wonderland Camp in Rocky Mount, MO.

Therap Mobile Applications: New Courses Available

We are happy to announce that we have new courses available on Training Academy for Therap’s Mobile Applications – Mobile Medication Administration Records (MAR), Mobile ISP Data, Mobile Scheduling/Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), Mobile T-Log and Mobile Password reset.

Therap provides highly secured Mobile Apps for both Android and iOS platforms. Therap’s Mobile Applications allow support professionals to utilize Therap when they provide services in the community and helps improve care to individuals.

  • Collect outcomes and service data
  • Directly submit shift notes or progress notes from handheld devices
  • View and record Medication Administration Records (MAR), notes, and status
  • Provide primary check-in/out for scheduled services in the community with the availability of GPS location tracker
  • View support plans and collect service data. 
  • Include photographs with entries using a secure-camera feature within the Mobile App
  • Collect signatures at the point of service

We are pleased to announce our free Certified Trainer led webinar on ‘Individual Support Plan, Workflow Walk-Through from A Provider’s Perspective’ which will be held on June 20 at 1:00 PM EDT. Deb Koop, Director of Quality at Lutheran Social Services of MN, and Therap Certified Trainer, will walk users through ISP (Individual Support Plan), including all the required information for a support plan, where everything on the form comes from, and where it links to or goes to in the system.
