Therap is delighted to invite you to join an upcoming webinar on ‘ISP Data Reports: Clinician, Programmatic, and the Report Library’. This webinar is scheduled to be held on 10th June, 2020 at 2:00 PM (EST). Therap’s Training & Implementation Specialists, Bonnie and Katy will be presenting how you can utilize the reporting features in Therap’s suite of applications for effectual electronic documentation.

Therap application is designed to facilitate users with multiple report options that represent how well individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are progressing towards achieving their goals set in the Service/Program Plan. The ISP Data module allows users to collect and record data for progress tracking. The application then uses this data to generate reports that can help you measure outcomes of individuals under your care as well as audit data.

Meet your Presenters:

Bonnie Sorrells is the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap Services. She has been skilled in using the Therap system since 2013 when she fulfilled her previous roles as the administrator and primary Therap in-house trainer at her previous agency. Bonnie has more than 15 years of training and experience in behavioral planning, medication management, case management, supported employment and HIPAA.

Katy Lilly has been the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap since 2018. She was a major part of the initial development of Therap when she had assisted in staff training and quality assurance of documentation. Katy has acquired around 5 years of experience working in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) field.

Intro to the New IDF!

Therap is thrilled to invite you to join an upcoming webinar that is going to Introduce you to Therap’s New Individual Demographic Form (IDF) module! This informative webinar is scheduled to be held on 9th June, 2020 at 1:00 PM (EST). You will receive a comprehensive introduction to the new user interface of the IDF module by Therap experts, Letisha Ulmer and Catherine Hauser.

The formerly known Individual Data Form, will soon be updated to the Individual Demographic Form (IDF) with an enhanced user interface. The upcoming update on Therap application will bring a new user interface to the IDF which is designed to provide a greater frictionless experience. You will also gain a deeper insight into the new flow to the IDF. Moreover, you will learn how to utilize the new additional features so that daily documentation on the Therap platform can be more effortless and efficient!

About the Hosts:

Letisha Ulmer is currently the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance at Therap Services. Her journey with Therap began in 2014. She has around 12 years of experience working in the Human Services industry. In addition to her strong professional experiences, Letisha is also a skilled trainer with extensive knowledge in CMS and OPWDD regulations as well as documentation requirements.

Catherine Hauser has been the Large Provider Project Manager at Therap Services since 2017. She has around 15 years of experience working in the Developmental Disabilities field serving her first professional role as a Direct Support Person in Illinois. As a Program Coordinator, Catherine was fascinated by the effectiveness of Therap’s suite of applications and introduced it to her previous agency.

Therap Services is pleased to announce the upcoming webinar on “Health Plus: Managing a Complete EHR in Therap” that is scheduled on June 09, 2020 at 02:00 PM (ET).

This webinar will give you an overview of Therap’s Health Tracking features such as Individual Care Plan, Order, Comprehensive Health Assessment Tool (eCHAT), and more. Additionally, you will learn the right use of the module to record information for the individuals that you support.

Milagros “Mimi” Roche joined Therap in 2016 as a Bilingual Training Specialist and is located in Waterbury, CT. Mimi has had over 10 years of experience working in the field of Development and Intellectual disabilities prior to joining Therap. She has worked as an Employment Specialist, Residential Instructor and Supervisor.

Elizabeth Stanton is a Training and Implementation Specialist of the he Therap Services team who joined in 2020. Liz has previous experience working with a large provider in New York State for 16 years; holding various roles, with the most recent being the Therap Administrator for 8 years.

Employment History – 2020.0.0 Updates

Join our upcoming webinar on ‘Employment History – 2020.0.0 Updates’. This online session is scheduled to be held on 20th May, 2020 at 2:00 PM (EST). Your hosts for this webinar will be Caiti Woodburn, Catherine Hauser and Margaret Gordon. You will be introduced to the latest enhancements in this module that have been designed to make daily documentation using Therap more effortless.

The Employment History module is an essential part of the Therap system because it assists you in maintaining a comprehensive record of Employment History for individuals under one electronic system. Staff from your organization with privileges will have access to utilize the tools within this module in order to maintain Career Development Plans, Applications and Interviews, Contacts and Interactions, Employers, Milestones and much more! The new Release 2020.0.0 for Employment History includes new features like post-Employer form completion actions: ‘Add Contact Person for this Employer’ and ‘Add Job Template for this Employer’ on the confirmation message page, addition of two new fields titled ‘Job Accepted By Individual?’ and ‘Interview Attended?’ to the Application and Interview form and many more!

Caiti Woodburn is the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap Services. She joined Therap in 2017 and has been working in the Developmental Disabilities field since 2008. Her past professional roles include QDDP intern and Direct Care Staff at Johnson County Board of Services (JCBS).

Catherine Hauser is the Large Provider Project Manager at Therap Services. She has around 15 years of experience working in the Developmental Disabilities field and began working at Therap from 2017. Her past professional roles include Direct Support Person, QIDP for both ICF/DD and CILA programs, Program Coordinator and DSP Course Coordinator.

Margaret Gordon has been the Training & Implementation Specialist since 2019 at Therap Services. She has been working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) since her high school years. Margaret has been utilizing the Therap System since 2015.

Connie O’Neill is the Training & Implementation Specialist at Therap since 2019. She previously served as the Provider Administrator when she had first begun using the Therap application. In addition to having over 15 years of experience working in the Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities sector prior to joining Therap, Tricia has extensive knowledge of regulations from the previous management roles she had fulfilled within Intermediate care facilities and Life Skills Development Centers (ADTs) in Florida.

Sarah Christiansen has been a part of the Therap Training and Implementation team since 2015. She has over 10 years of experience in working within the Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health field. Sarah feels passionate about her profession within this field as this gives her the opportunity to support individuals to live an enhanced life.

Stephen gained experience as a Therap user at Prime Care, Inc. in Connecticut, where he worked as a Residential Director.

Webinar on Staff Matching with DDO

Have you ever hired an employee and wondered if the person was the right fit?

Have you ever thought about certain work teams and wondered why some are more successful than others in helping people?

If so, join us for this webinar session scheduled on February 28th, 2019 at 2:00 pm EST, which will take an evidence-based approach to analyze the effectiveness of staff matching through the use of Therap’s Data-Driven Outcomes module/dashboard.

Therap has introduced a new Data Driven Outcome dashboard for tracking outcomes and measuring the quality of services and supports provided to all individuals. Users will be able to create Outcome Measure Types and map Individual ISP Programs and ISP Program Templates to these Outcome Measure Types. On the dashboard, providers will be able to aggregate multiple individuals’ progress across program and service types, domains, and service providers in comparison with identified agency outcomes and objectives.

Meet the presenters:

Ishya “Shae” Dotson who is a State Implementation Specialist, joined Therap team in 2014. Shae began supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 2000. She served for nine years as the Staff Training Coordinator for a provider agency in Georgia as well as being a trainer of Georgia Dept. of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.

Jason Laws is currently a Business Development Consultant who joined Therap Services back in 2010 and comes from North Carolina with a background in individualized supports and service delivery for individuals with developmental disabilities. Jason has worked in direct support, case management, program management and most recently, as the Executive Director of a nonprofit service provider in Athens, GA.

Fayonne Johnson is a Senior Training & Implementation Specialist here at Therap Services and working from 2013. She comes from a Nursing background with extensive experience in caring for and documenting the needs of children and adults with emotional and mental disorders, including Dementia and Alzheimer’s, in a clinical setting.
