Among Therap’s suite of applications, Service Authorization module is designed for agencies to list the services that a funding source will cover for an individual with some additional details like information on the service coordinator, adding comments and attaching files . Whereas, the Utilization Report is a feature of Therap’s Billing module that is used to track Service Units Utilized over a given period of time. During this session, our experts will show you the different ways you can manage service authorizations and billing units in Therap in a comprehensive manner.

Unit Calculation Rule-Application for ISP Billing

We are very happy to announce our upcoming webinar titled, “Unit Calculation Rule-Application for ISP Billing” that has been scheduled on June 10, 2020 at 02.00 PM ET. Our expert will give you an overview of the application of Unit Calculation rule for ISP Billing.

In order to generate Billing Data from ISP Data you will have to Create ISP Program for Billing, Create ISP Data for Billing, Create Service Authorization for ISP Program, Generate Billing Data from ISP Data and apply the Unit Calculation Rule. Using the ISP Billing (Using Unit Calculation Rule) feature, you will be able to generate Billing through ISP Data for a defined Unit Calculation Rule.

The purpose of Individual Data form (IDF) is to help you record and maintain essential Information regarding the individuals you support. Letisha Ulmer is currently Assistant Director of Quality Assurance who joined the Therap Training and Implementation team in 2014. She has worked in the Human Services field since 2008 in the state of New York where she filled professional roles including a Therap administrator, a residents’ benefits clerk and a day habilitation secretary.

Catherine Hauser is a Large Provider Project Manager who joined Therap Services team back in 2017. Her experience in the developmental disabilities field began in 2005 in Illinois when she became a Direct Support Person. Shortly after, Catherine became a QIDP for both ICF/DD and CILA programs at her previous agency.

Using the Individual Support Plan for Comprehensive Annual Planning

Therap Services is pleased to announce the upcoming webinar on “Using the Individual Support Plan for Comprehensive Annual Planning” that is scheduled on May 13, 2020 at 01:00 PM (EST).

Therap’s Individual Support Plan module is designed for you to plan and document individual supports. This module will enable you to record an individual’s personal details including Risks, Professional Services, Action Plans, Discussion Records, and Services Supports in the Individual Support Plan form. Moreover, this form can be used together with the Personal Focus Worksheet and the ISP Agenda for a comprehensive person-centered planning experience.

Ishya “Shae” Dotson is a State Implementation Specialist of Therap Services, she joined the team in 2014. Shae is a certified Person-Centered Thinking Skills Trainer for The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices.

Robin Forbes joined the Therap Services West Team as a Training and Implementation Specialist in 2018. She has over 25 years of experience working in the I/DD field in Delaware and Colorado.

Join our upcoming webinar on Therap for Children and Family Services on May 21, 2019. Stephen and Stacy will walk you through this webinar at 1:00 PM EST/10:00 AM PST.

Therap’s multilevel access control mechanism makes it easy for children and family members to access timely information and be knowledgeable about the services and supports that the individual is receiving. They can communicate with support professionals directly, view daily notes, see progress, view medications and receive notification and a lot more depending on how their accounts are configured. Therap allows individuals and guardians to feel a better sense of decision-making based on their instant access to information.

Stacy Wilson is a Business Development Consultant at Therap. She began her work serving individuals in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) field in 2007 as a Direct Support Professional, followed by roles in program coordination, and most recently serving as the Assistant Director at Harmony House Care Homes in Blue Springs, Missouri. She led the transition to a paperless system at HHCH and has first-hand experience with how much of an impact Therap Services can have at every level of service delivery within an organization.

Stephen Flanigan is the Assistant Director, Strategic Initiatives at Therap. Stephen gained experience as a Therap user at Prime Care, Inc. in Connecticut, for individuals with developmental disabilities and training agency staff in how to use Therap. Stephen has worked on various teams within Therap focusing on the development and implementation of the overall training approach of the company. He maintains a comprehensive understanding of New York state regulations and documentation guidelines.
