Allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation can be reported using the GER module. There are options to indicate whether abuse, neglect and exploitation is suspected for a particular incident including details of the type of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, the support person who reported the incident, relationship to the individual, and the level of notification depending on the extent of severity or complexity of the incident.
The system’s flexible notification mechanism sends automatic and real-time alerts of incidents and allegation via the SComm module, email and text messages. For instance, a user in the system enters a Notification Level for allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation for a certain individual, the case manager receives a notification. A case manager may choose to receive notifications for a specific level of notification (e.g. high, medium or low) and select the appropriate media via which they will receive these alerts.
