OMG, New Mexico is rocking my face!!

I have had a blast with all the Therapites in New Mexico. The people are awEsome and very friendly. Many great questions in all my training. However I must say my two favorite sayings this go round:
1. What’s the difference between doing it on paper or online? Paper is on paper….online is online.
2. Please send that to feedback

Thank you so much New Mexico I had a blast. Peace, love and Therap, kiddies.

Heart felt thanks and New Mexico, here I come!

OK, I know I don’t blog probably as much as I should, but hey quality over quantity. First of all, I would like to thank everyone for the concern of my state during the recent tornadoes and storms. As Oklahoma’s certified trainer, we thank you. I heard a certain ex-presidential candidate and 700 Club member ask why would people choose to live where they know there are tornadoes….?

So I wonder why we would live on the west coast (earthquakes) or east coast (hurricanes and on The Avengers alien invasions) or for that fact, New Mexico where water and anything green seem to be in demand. It’s because it’s not about the area you live it’s about who lives in your area…it’s the friends, family, coworkers, and all the people in our lives who make where we live home. In light of all that’s happened in my state and all the compassion that has been given to those in need please remember that people are in need every day.

Make sure to share the compassion every day not just during times of disaster, take time to love yourself and those around you…cause you never know when they will no longer be around.

Take care, Therapites. Peace, love, and Therap…D out!!!

No more heavy bag trips!!!!!!!

The other day I realized that I have not blogged in a while…so I figure it is time to put my little thoughts down for the world to read. Anyhoo I had just realized how busy a time of year it is right now with trips to amusement parks, water parks, Special Olympics, Relay for Life, etc….We do a lot this time of year. So, it was when I was getting ready for Special Olympics that I realized how much has changed in our agency in just the last few years since we have been using Therap. I remember back in the day when we went anywhere everyone had their heavy backpack full of books with everything from progress note to medication administration record. Also I always had memos and schedules for every event that we where doing to give to every staff member to keep up on what was going on. It’s kinda scary to think back to all that since now it’s like my iPad is superglued to my hand, with my iPhone a close second. It really is cool that all those things in those huge books can now be done on a phone or tablet anywhere. So not only is Therap helping my agency with keeping on the cutting edge of technology and making documentation and communication so much easier, think of all the chiropractor visits its helping us save on!!!! TTFN Therapites….

How to turn terror into a triumph…

I know that alot of us have had the terror of having Therap not being online or having intermittent issues in the last week or so. Well i take this as a good thing on many different levels and I will now explain why… First it gives us a good oppotunity to remember life preTherap all the paperwork that had to be done by hand all the time that was used in this endeavor. Secondly it gives us a chance to see how well our emergency plans are in case of power outages or if lord forbid the internet where to be offline (Jinkies…). Last but not least remember it will all be worth it in the end with the AWSOMENESS (yeah i went all 80s) of the new and improved Therap. BTW here come one 80s song quote to finish this up “You don’t know what you got till it’s gone…” Stay cool Therapites….

Is it wrong that I dream in Therap??

Well this is a blog that has just been waiting to happen… I am not the best blogger but here goes. Since my agency has been using Therap it has been making it so much easier for every one in my office to know whats going on out in the “real world” with our clients and our staff. I now find it kind of funny that we are all in point when we are in an office meeting and you have 6 cell phones go off at one time and only 1 person has to look to see who it is and what is going on. I am a firm believer in communication and sometimes I forget how much we have now. Is it a sign that Therap works when u start checking your messages when your having those rather private moments such as bathroom time or while on a date?? If Oprah saw how much I check my Therap in the car she would slap me down (only check at stop lights ;) ). So I ask is it wrong to dream in Therap. Sweet Dreams Therapites….
