Oregon User Group Meeting

Join our upcoming Oregon User Group meeting on November 7, 2019 at 10 AM (PST). All Therap Users in Oregon are invited to attend the user group session. In Oregon, we support community service provider agencies and vendors in coordination with several Oregon Counties and Oregon Licensing. The user group is scheduled to support new, interested and existing users who want to know more about the Therap suite of applications.

The user group will cover the following topics:

About the speakers:

Kevin Dierks is the Regional Director of Pacific Rim. He has been working in supporting people with developmental disabilities and the communities and systems since 1990. His experience has taken him from the front lines of program delivery to program management and systems change. He has been involved in multiple public research and initiatives involving public health, disability, technology, and human services.

Seanette Smith is a Senior Training and Implementation Specialist at Therap. Prior to joining Therap, she has worked in the Developmental Disability Program in the state of Oregon as a Personal Service Worker (PSW) Liaison/QED. Seanette has over 10 years of experience as a Billing Specialist.

Jason Laws is a Business Development Consultant who joined Therap Services in 2010. He came from North Carolina with a background in individualized support and service delivery for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Invitation for Regional Conference in Portland, Oregon, October 9, 2018

You are welcome to join our regional conference in Portland, Oregon on October 9, 2018. Join us to learn about the latest Therap updates, new Business Intelligence dashboards and see how you can implement Therap’s new EVV module to meet emerging Federal requirements.

Therap introduces additional tools to support Oregon specific employment and community Services. For providers in Oregon, Therap has introduced state specific assessment requirements in line with the Oregon Department of Human Services. Therap supports state specific initiatives that are focused increasingly on community-based supports, less intensive support models, and individual’s achieving gainful employment.

Oregon intellectual and developmental disability providers currently use Therap’s Community Employment module to track a range of related supports and documentation. With Therap’s Job Bank-Employer Database, Employment Support staff have the necessary tools to maintain an accurate history of the individual’s work experience and job details. Administrative staff ware able to create, update or delete employers, contact persons and job templates, viewable by support staff with assigned privileges. This ensures that staff are accessing accurate information on a consistent basis, from the point of service.

Oregon Resource Association’s 2017 Northwest Conference

Therap is proud to have been a sponsor of Oregon Resource Association’s 2017 Northwest Conference on Professional Development in Disability Services. As the hub of the disability community, Oregon Resource Association (ORA) provides a collaborative platform that connects and empowers their members through learning, advocacy, resources and innovation.

Oregon User Group Meeting on August 22, 2017

Therap will be hosting an Oregon User Group Meeting for users in the state of Oregon at Ashland Supportive Housing, 1620 Clark st., Ashland, OR 97520.

This is an opportunity for Therap users from agencies in the state of Oregon providing services and supports in the Intellectual and Developmental Disability community to meet and discuss state and regional issues, and clarify and learn about the latest Therap releases and how they are aligned with the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS). It is an open forum to check in with Therap and learn from and share with other Therap users in the area.
