Billing Support Specialist
Therap Services, the national leader in online electronic health records and documentation for people with developmental disabilities is seeking an individual to fill the position of a Billing Support Specialist.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Train and consult customers that use the Therap Billing module and
guide them on billing set up and utilization of the software - Provide live customer support via computer, over conference formats
and over the phone - Advise customers on billing practices using Therap software and
troubleshoot claims processing - Work both independently and remotely and as part of a diverse and
dynamic national and multinational organization

Skills Required:
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills along with
good decision making capability - Basic understanding of billing and claims data
- Excellent communication skills (both written and speech)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.),
web applications andEmail clients
Preferences:
- Experience working as a House Manager, Billing Staff, Accounting Associate
or equivalent in the developmental disability field - Willingness to work flexible hours
- Basic administrative skills
- Must have experience using Therap applications
- Claims or EDI experience preferred
- Interest in computers, social media, developmental disabilities,
marketing, teaching, traveling, public speaking and presenting
