Business Development

 

 

Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience as a Therap User, strong knowledge of the Human Services field and the ability to sell. The majority of our business development/sales team had been Therap users and leaders in the human services field before coming to work for Therap. They should be ready to accept a challenging job that combines sales, consulting and computer skills.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

 

Work under supervision of the Associate Director of Business Development
Respond to potential customer inquiries with formal and informal presentations
Communicate the value of Therap solution with prospects and clients
Develop thorough understanding of each account’s industry and business
Maintains accurate records of customer contacts, accounts, invoices, and delivery of support services
Close sales of Therap products and maximize account adoption of the Therap solution
Builds relationships at all levels within organizations
Ability to critically evaluate situations and provide solutions to issues as they arise

 

 

As Needed:

 

 

Conducts cold calls, network, prospect and qualify account opportunities
Attends and presents at industry conferences
Provide on-site training to users
Provide live customer support in person, via computer, at conferences and over the phone
Work both independently and remotely and as part of a diverse and dynamic national and international organization

 

 

Skills Required:

 

 

Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills along with good decision making capability
Excellent communication skills (both written and speech)
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), experience with web applications (Zoom, and Salesforce) preferred, along with proficiency with Google applications
Must have the ability to successfully develop and execute a winning sales strategy
Proficient in maintaining prospect tracking documentation for new sales opportunities and managing and documenting oversight of implementation of new clients
Excellent in developing and maintaining relationship with the current customer base and should be able to use consultative and sales skills to clearly understand customers’ business requirements and recommend the Therap solutions that will solve their business need as applicable

 

 

Preferences:

 

 

Experience working in management positions in the Human Services field
Willingness to work flexible hours
Experience using Therap applications
Interest in technology, social media, marketing, teaching, travel, public speaking, and presenting

 

 

Salary Range:

 

 

$45,000 to $300,000
