Therap is a documentation and communication service provider to agencies working with developmental disabilites, intellectual disabilities, long term care, from all over USA and in some Canadian provinces. Thus we have staff spread all over the country to be a spokesperson for Therap to prospective customers and to provide support to our current customers.

Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you will provide live assistance to clients in person, via instant messaging, at conferences and over the phone. You will train and consult with States, Counties, single and multi-state providers, families, self-advocates, and anyone else using Therap. You will be traveling extensively; the position, especially during the first two years, is expected to be about 90% travel. You will be working independently while being a part of a diverse and dynamic team working in a global environment.

Required Qualifications

• Our ideal candidate is preferably an experienced Therap user within the developmental disability community. The majority of our support staff had been house managers before coming to work for us.
• Must be willing to travel extensively.
• Should be able to work independently while maintaining remote communication with other members of the team, located in various locations across the US and abroad.
• Should be interested in computers, information technology, social media, marketing, and teaching.
• Should have a natural talent for public speaking and presenting.
