Holy Angels is a service agency that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
in North Carolina. The organization provides a variety of services to the people they support, who range in

into that population, versus what an electronic health record system used by any hospital or clinic [could

touched almost every department [of Holy Angels]. That has been neat, that it has helped all of us," says
Sandford.
Another key benefit of Therap is its ability to provide Holy Angels’ staff with secure, real‑time
access
to information from anywhere with an internet connection. “We serve a lot of individuals who are very
medically fragile. Unfortunately, we do have frequent trips to the hospital,” Sandford shares. “Being
able to have [an individual’s] chart with us right there without hauling a binder full of [paper] has
been hugely helpful. The efficiency and security has been really nice for us.” This instant access to
critical data not only enhances efficiency but also ensures that staff can provide seamless, informed
supports no matter where they are.
One of the most impactful features for Holy Angels is Therap’s Data Driven Outcomes (DDO) dashboard. “We use
the DDO platform quite a bit. We're able to look at a lot of [information] in comparison and then use that
data to see inefficiencies,” says Sandford. “It has made us a lot more effective and efficient.” Holy Angels
leverages DDO to assess staff performance and determine when additional support or training is needed for
their team. Additionally, DDO makes it easy to pull key statistics, which Holy Angels incorporates into
grant proposals. Having access to concrete data strengthens their applications, demonstrating measurable
outcomes and the impact of their services.
Therap has proven to be an essential tool for Holy Angels, transforming the way they manage data and
reporting over the past decade. “ [Therap] has streamlined so many things – not only from the data input
side, but also from the reporting side and being able to find information a lot more quickly and compare or
aggregate it,” Sandford reflects. “It's been really beneficial to our agency financially, efficiency wise,
and training wise. We love it.” With its ability to simplify processes and drive efficiency, Therap
