For Dungarvin, a multi-state service provider supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across 15 states, oversight is no small task. With Therap, Dungarvin has transformed its documentation processes, ensuring vital information is securely stored and instantly accessible whenever needed. “With paper, you can lose documentation or not be able to find it when you need to have it at your fingertips,” says Jeni Kenyon, Dungarvin’s Program Technology Manager. “Therap [helps] secure the documentation.”
Not only is information safely stored in Therap, but it is also readily available for staff to use. This is especially useful for oversight and quality assurance. “Any [data] that goes into Therap can come out of Therap to give a bird's eye view by a couple of clicks of a button,” Kenyon claims. “That makes things more efficient and accurate, versus having somebody at a location looking for a document. It's accessible from anywhere, at any time.”

Since implementing Therap, Dungarvin has benefited from significant time savings – an aspect of the system that Kenyon has received positive feedback on from numerous staff members. “Our staff have a lot on their plate. To have [documentation] be more efficient for them and not take up so much time, they can spend more time supporting the individuals and helping them live their best lives,” Kenyon emphasizes.
Kenyon highlights that the ease of use and efficiency of Therap have been helpful for staff, making daily tasks significantly more manageable. She shares a story about implementing a new Therap module at a Dungarvin location in Indiana, stating, “Not even 12 hours later, [staff] emailed me and said that they love it. It's something that typically took them two hours to do, but it took them 20 minutes.”
With Therap, Dungarvin has transformed its documentation processes, making information more accessible, secure, and efficient. The ability to instantly retrieve data from anywhere has been a game changer for staff, allowing them to focus more on delivering quality support. “I love Therap,” Kenyon says. “I appreciate the fact that everything is instantaneous and you can see [information] from anywhere at any given time.” As Dungarvin continues to grow, Therap remains an essential tool in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining compliance, and saving staff time so that they can focus on providing supports.
